Handwork project tutorial: wet felted playmat

 This is a great handwork project for even very small children, and is nearly foolproof. Any child will enjoy designing their playmat with wool, wet felting it, and finally playing with the toy they themselves created. Children as young as 4 can do this with just a  little help from you. My daughter made the one in the picture by herself.
